Description
When tiling your own floors or walls, some tiles will have to be cut to size. Make your life easier by using this Powerplus electric tile cutter. It comes with a diamond saw blade, so you can get to work immediately.
What can you do with this tile cutter?
You can use this Powerplus tile cutter for cutting tiles, granite, marble and (natural) stone. Unlike a manual tile cutter, this electric version allows you to make straight cuts, as well as L-shaped, U-shaped and mitred cuts.
Its strong points:
Efficient: The diamond saw blade is continuously cooled by the built-in water cooler. It lengthens the cutting disc’s lifetime, ensures cleaner cuts and reduces dust.
Hard materials: This tile cutter is not just to cut through soft, ceramic tiling, it can also tackle harder materials like marble or natural stone.
Different cuts: Additionally, apart from straight cuts – regular or mitred – you can also make angled or curved cuts.
Induction motor: Thanks to the induction motor, the machine has a longer lifespan, requires less maintenance and produces less noise than a machine with a regular motor.
Safe: The switch is dustproof and the cutter has been equipped with an RCD or residual current device to prevent electrocution as it cuts the power supply in case of a current leakage.
Safety guard: The safety guard keeps a safe distance between your hands and the sharp cutting blade.
Tips & Tricks:
- Always wear safety goggles and gloves when cutting tiles. Small, sharp pieces of tile could come loose.
- It’s advised to wear a dust mask as well, so you don’t inhale any saw dust.
- Always check whether the cutting blade is sharp enough. If, after a long time, the blade needs to be replaced, the KRT081103 diamond cutting disc is compatible with this tile cutter and is available from our Kreator product line.
